'Fate/Apocrypha' Episode 12 Spoilers: Black Servant and Master to Release Final Trump Card?
Sieg survived his battle with Mordred, and Darnic is about to use his trump card on the next episode of the Japanese fantasy anime series, "Fate/Apocrypha."
This week finally saw Jeanne and Sieg reuniting at the worst of times. After Mordred cut Spartacus' body in half, the latter's regeneration was triggered, thus leading his mutating body to become unstable. But while Mordred has already escaped on her master's car, Jeanne and Astolfo both refused to leave the badly incapacitated Sieg behind.
It was also then that Jeanne was forced to use her own Noble Phantasm to shield everyone from the explosion that eventually tore Spartacus' body apart. If the Ruler had not been there, that would've been the end of everyone. But the Great Holy Grail War still has a long way to go from its ultimate conclusion.
And it seems that the upcoming episode will be showcasing the kind of power that Darnic and his servant, Vlad, possess.
Vlad has previously told his master not to ever order him to use his Noble Phantasm, but desperate times call for desperate measures, and the Holy Grail itself is at stake. Just before this week's episode ended, Darnic uttered an apology for his servant before declaring that he was about to unleash his trump card.
How dangerous is Vlad's Noble Phantasm that Vlad himself is weary of using it? How strong will it turn out to be for Darnic to refer to it as his trump card? Will going against his servant's request have severe repercussions to their relationship down the line?
Then again, will Vlad even survive his own Noble Phantasm? Or will he no longer be able to fulfill his simple dream of wiping away every single trace of the Dracula legends?
"Fate/Apocrypha" airs on Saturdays at midnight JST on Tokyo MX, BS 11, Gumma TV and Togi TV. It also airs on Tuesdays late night at 3:30 a.m. JST on MBS.
