'Fate/Apocrypha' Episode 13 Spoilers: Second Cour to Feature a Battle Between Sieg and Shiro?
After last week's recap episode, the Japanese fantasy anime series, "Fate/Apocrypha" is all set to begin its second cour. And now that Shiro's true identity has been exposed, what new directions will the ongoing war take from here on out?
Titled, "The Beginning of the Great Holy Grail Arc," the recap episode brought together the most significant highlights of the series' first twelve episodes with the narration being done by the Homunculus Sieg, as voiced by Natsuki Hanae, and the Ruler-class servant, Jeanne d'Arc, as voiced by Maaya Sakamoto.
The series will reportedly have a total of 25 episodes with the upcoming 13th marking the beginning of its second cour. A new key visual art has also been released, featuring Sieg, Shiro, and Jeanne. Could this be hinting at an upcoming battle between the new Saber of Black and the supposed leader of the Red Faction?

Episode 12 ended with Jeanne confronting Shiro, who turned out to be Amakusa Shiro Tokisada, the Ruler-class servant from the Fuyuki Grail War of sixty years ago. And when asked what he has been planning to do all this time, Shiro replied that he intends to "save all of mankind."
The leader of the Black Faction is dead, while the leader of the Red Faction has proven himself to be a rather untrustworthy man with a secret agenda of his own. How will this impact the ongoing Great Holy Grail War? Will the servants bond together once again to defeat a common enemy?
LiSA will be singing the new opening theme titled "Ash," while ASCA is all set to perform the ending theme titled "Koe."
LiSA has previously done the opening theme for "Fate/Zero" as well as an insert song for "Fate/Stay Night: Unlimited Blade Works." On the other hand, ASCA is the solo project of Asuka Okura, who was a finalist in Animax's fifth Japanese Ansong Grand Prix held in 2011.
"Fate/Apocrypha" airs on Saturdays at midnight JST on Tokyo MX, BS 11, Gumma TV and Togi TV. It also airs on Tuesdays late night at 3:30 a.m. JST on MBS and streams on Mondays on Netflix.
