Father Caught in Secret Film Trying to Murder His Newborn Son
A father has been charged with attempting to murder his baby son after his girlfriend set up a hidden camera to catch him cheating.
The hidden camera caught Joshua Robey, 24, swinging his 2-month-old son by the neck in a “noose like” blanket. He also punched his baby and covered his mouth with his hand.
His girlfriend intentionally set up the secret camera at her home in Anaheim, California, because she suspected the baby’s father of cheating on her.

Robey was babysitting his son when he wrapped the blanket around the baby’s neck and swung him around for over a minute. He was then filmed punching, slapping and shaking the baby and grabbing him by the throat.
The shocked mother saw the video of the abuse the following morning and contacted the police. She took her baby to the hospital after she saw the video. It is not known how many injuries the baby suffered.
Robey was arrested and is currently being held on $1 million bond. He is being charged with attempted murder and torture of his new-born son and may face up to 15 years in prison if convicted.
