'Fear the Walking Dead' season 1 episode 5 spoilers: Ofelia Salazar and the National Guards

Trouble is expecting to come in the new episode of "Fear the Walking Dead."

A teaser was recently released by AMC for episode 5 of Fear The Walking Dead. It showed an unhappy Salazar family.
In the previous episode, fans saw Mrs. Salazar and Nick being taken away to receive medical treatment. While Mr. Salazar had planned to go with his wife, he was stopped by the soldiers.

The recent teaser showed their daughter Ofelia Salazar causing a scene at the fences. She was yelling at the soldiers, demanding to disclose where they had taken her mother. With that, it also showed Ofelia's romantic interest, also a solider, stopping another solider to harm her.

With Nick also taken away, the upcoming episode is also expected to bring tension between Madison and Travis. The couple are currently holding opposing perspectives on the National Guard. Executive producer of the show Dave Erickson spoke with Entertainment Weekly and revealed some insight on the couple.
He said, "I think they're both right. The problem is, the plates are shifting. Travis' inclination — and this goes back to the pilot — he does have faith and trust in the institutions. He does believe things are going to improve and things are going to get better. And Madison has somewhat of a darker edge to her and she's less trusting."

Erickson explained that their tension is just the beginning of the conflict that will be explored for the rest of the season, with Travis holding on to what he thinks is right. He added, "In this world if you are trying to be good and trying to be noble, do you ultimately compromise your family or help them? That's the transition we're beginning to see between Madison and Travis."

Episode 5 of Fear the Walking Dead is expected to air on Sept. 27.
