'Fear The Walking Dead' Season 2 News: Madison and Strand Go Head To Head

The upcoming episodes of "Fear The Walking Dead" Season 2 are expected to build on the power struggle between Strand and Madison.

The return of "The Walking Dead" companion series began with the group heading off to the water on Strand's (Colman Domingo) yacht. As they head off to safety, it was evident that Strand had used his authority to rule those aboard.

However, his power has brought some questions of morality, as he refuses to bring any other people on board. His belief was seen contrasting with Madison, played by Kim Dickens, who believes that they have the responsibility to help others out.

The premiere episode saw Madison allowing Strand to get his way, when he insisted that they just disregard the large group of people seeking help. But the most recent episode of "Fear The Walking Dead" saw Madison going against Strand's wishes when she brought a young boy on the yacht. However, before Strand could refuse, the young kid's brother insisted that they give him his brother back.

According to Entertainment Weekly, the upcoming episodes will show Strand and Madison opposing each other further. The executive producer of the series Dave Erickson explained, "And what's interesting is the power struggle between Madison and Victor Strand. If the older brother, Seth, had not jumped on the boat with his gun at that moment and demanded that his brother be returned to him, you would have had a face-off between two very strong, potential leaders on the show, and I think that it would have gone a different way, and it would have led to a much different episode 3, 4, 5, and beyond, and that's not something that Strand's going to forget."
With that, fans should expect more conflict to come about as the season progresses.

"Fear The Walking Dead" Season 2 airs on AMC every Sunday nights.
