"I know that the biggest comment of last season was that the pacing was very slow because it was building character and relationships and family. But now, when I tell you it is amped up, every episode is epic. I swear to you," he told EW.

"There's so much going on, because here we are in the middle of this apocalypse, and we've got to go. It's go, go, go, go, go, go, and there are enormous changes and shifts in character, personality, very quickly," he went on to say.

Talking about threats, Domingo divulge that people and not the walkers, will continue to be the biggest threat in the story. In the eyes of his character, he sees humans as rather volatile beings that are constantly "shifting and changing" when the need to do so arise. This makes them even more dangerous than the reanimated ones.

For those who missed it, the end of Season 1 saw Travis (Cliff Curtis) and Madison (Kim Dickens) boarding the Abigail which Victor owns. Joining their escape from the land are Daniel (Ruben Blades), Nick (Frank Dillane), Alicia (Alycia Debnam-Carey) and Chris (Lorenzo James Henrie).
