'Fear the Walking Dead' Season 2 Spoilers: More Action, Boat Adventures Coming
"Fear the Walking Dead" season 2 is only a couple of months away from its premiere and fans are excited to know what sort of adventures will be featured when the series comes back.
The next installment of the AMC post-apocalyptic series is expected to present a big difference from season 1, which featured slow story development. "Fear the Walking Dead" season 2 will feature a lot more action plus boat adventures for the main characters, according to Inquisitr.
In an interview with Entertainment Weekly (EW), "Fear the Walking Dead" producer Robert Kirkman revealed a few hints on what fans can expect from season 2.
"There's definitely going to be a lot of intense action and a lot of awesome boat stuff," Kirkman told EW in the interview. "Despite the fact that zombies can't walk on water and can't swim, there will be plenty of zombies to be had."
Meanwhile, new cast members have been added to the "Fear the Walking Dead" group. One of them is Daniel Zovatto, who has been given a recurring role in the second installment of the AMC series. There is a possibility that he will play the love interest of Alycia Debnam-Carey's character, the report details.
Another new addition is Colman Domingo, who has been cast as Victor Strand, the man who owns the yacht that will be used for their water escape. His character will become the main villain in season 2. Since the boat will not be able to accommodate everybody comfortably, the survivors could later on fall into chaos as they turn against each other, Crossmap reports.
While some fans think that the characters will be safe from zombies while they are travelling by sea, they still cannot avoid encounters with Walkers. Kirkman, however, did not specify the nature in which the encounters will take place, so fans will have to stay tuned to the story to find out.
"Fear the Walking Dead" season 2 is slated to premiere on Apr. 10 on AMC.
