'Fear the Walking Dead' Update: "Los Muertos" Recap; "Do Not Disturb" Spoilers
"Fear the Walking Dead" latest episode followed Nick's adventures in the new Tijuana colony and Madison, Strand, and other members as they become stranded in a hotel.
"Fear the Walking Dead" Season 2B Episode 9 'Los Muertos' follows the anticipated survival of Nick (Frank Dillane), who has found a new colony to stay in. The new colonia is tough, as expected, as it is led by gun-toting men. Viewers of the "Walking Dead" spin-off expected that the new episode would somehow focus more on other characters, but there seems to be no let up with Nick and the new camp in Tijuana.
New discoveries
Fans thought that it would be quite disappointing not to include other characters in this episode. However, the lack of drama brought about by other cast members led to answers to some of the basic colony questions.

The people from the new colony where Nick is in carry with them a few beliefs on what the walkers are. Alejandro, an elder member of the colony, was once bitten by a walker, but he did not turn into one. Because of this, the people revered Alejandro and even made him their leader. And whether Alejandro was faking this or not, there may indeed be some people who are immune to the condition.
Nick back where he started
After his experience last season and getting out of his thing with Celia, it looks like Nick is back where he has started. Fans thought that Nick was wasting time and was too foolish to become an asset to the colony.
In one of the scenes in 'Los Muertos', Nick went on a trek with Luciana to get water and goods in a station run by a gang. This was one of the instances wherein Nick made a stupid decision of joining Luciana to make her happy. All in all, Nick was able to turn the tables around and talk his way out of this tight situation.
On the other hand, Madison and the others discovered a hotel that they thought was safe. Once they thought the coast was clear, they had to feel at ease. Strand and Madison drank liquor, Strand starts playing the piano while Madison throws plates everywhere. Fans thought that this was not the best time to get drunk and the two could have just stood guard and watched over the hotel.
As expected, a hoard of walkers attacked and left the group to fend for them. Zombies were everywhere. Some hurled themselves out the hotel balcony, while some moved closer to Strand and Madison who were both trapped in the hotel bar.
'Do Not Disturb' preview
After 'Los Muertos', AMC released a preview of "Fear the Walking Dead" Episode 10 'Do Not Disturb'. In this episode, Chris and Travis move south. It will reveal further what Chris' state of mind is and what will happen if the father and son duo will cross paths with new characters of the show.
Nick's adventure in Tijuana continues, while Madison and Strand's condition will not be overlooked even if this episode concentrates on Chris and Travis' survival.
