Fear the Walking Dead Updates: Premiere; New Season Teasers; New Characters
Fresh characters in a huge infected world; Fear the Walking Dead Season 2B will premieres August 21 on AMC
The survivors of the apocalyptic television series, Fear The Walking Dead, will return for the second half of Season 2 as they battle zombies and plan their survival in Mexico. AMC released photos of the series and reports say that these images may show new characters.
Fresh characters for the new season
Fans will soon see fresh characters battling the undead in Fear the Walking Dead. First is Danay Garcia who will play the role of Luciana. Reports say that Luciana will become one of the major characters for next season because she will bring Nick into her community. She is a soldier-type girl who comes from a community with people who have completely new views about zombies. Danay will also be with Carlos Segura who plays as a scout and Alfredo Herrera who plays Francisco.

Madison ( Kim Dickens) and Strand (Colman Domingo) will be spotted at a bar while Travis (Cliff Curtis) and Chris (Lorenzo James Henrie) will be found in the open. Still there is Carey (Alycia Debnam) who will be shooting rampaging zombies while vacationing in a hotel.
Potential crossover from The Walking Dead?
AMC has dealt with a lot of criticisms when it comes to Fear the Walking Dead especially since it is a spinoff from a widely-popular series. Fans assumed that a reference or even a crossover of The Walking Dead and Fear the Walking Dead could be possible. But AMC has remained confident that Fear the Walking Dead will shine on its own.
Gale Anne Hurd and Dave Erickson, executive producers for Fear the Walking Dead said that the first season did not actually perform the way they hoped it would be. This was considering that characters from the show may not be a match for the cast of The Walking Dead.
AMC worked its magic and introduced new characters for the coming Season 2B. And along with new characters, the group became divided as they searched for a new home. The series also opted to focus on individual characters as they deal with survival.
Hurd said that the group has travelled far in search of a home which has dramatically increased their world and this has opened up more possibilities for the future. The group will be able to find different communities and will find more people that are infected.
Fear the Walking Dead will return on August 21 on AMC at 9 p.m. ET/PT.
