Fear the Walking Dead Updates: Season 2B Starts with All-Day Marathon Sunday
Fear the Walking Dead season 2B will have new characters, a new way of life for the survivors and new foes as they look for a new place to call home in Mexico.
Here's a treat for Fear the Walking Dead fans—a thrilling all-day marathon will usher in the new season, Season 2B! All day Sunday, the television series will feature all its previous episodes leading to the exciting new season 2B. This marathon will surely help fans who are still catching up with past episodes and seasons of the show.
In the final few episodes of the last season of Fear the Walking Dead, viewers have left the group in a ranch somewhere in Mexico. The ranch was set on fire. Daniel Salazar (Ruben Blades) set fire on all the walkers that Celia Flores (Marlene Forte) has kept. There was disaster everywhere and the group split up and looking someplace else to call home.
In Season 2B, viewers will once again revisit Mexico and find new characters and new alliances unfold. According to the creators and writers of Fear the Walking Dead, there will be eight more new episodes for the latest season. It will star new faces as well as old ones.

Marathon begins with pilot episode
Fear the Walking Dead all-day marathon will start at 7 a.m. ET and will start with the initial episode of the series. Fans will be taken back to the first season when Nick, played by Frank Dillane, found himself in a church and afterwards finds Gloria.
At exactly 1:52 p.m., ET viewers will be watching an episode where the cast is at the ocean ready to escape a burning Los Angeles City. Fans will surely recall the different scenes that led to various controversies in the series including survival and new alliances formed.
New characters introduced
Fear the Walking Dead will have a cast of new faces such as Danay Garcia who will play as Luciana. She will be a major character in the new season since she will take Nick to her community. She is with other new cast members too, such as Carlos Segura and Alfredo Herrera.
A new trailer with the new cast was previewed at the San Diego Comic-Con 2016. This showed the group exploring new areas in the scorching hot desert and facing new threats, not just from freakish zombies, but also from groups that had firepower and supplies.
The Fear the Walking dead trailer ended with major cast members trapped in a hotel bar with zombies reaching out to them wanting a bite. As the trailer said, there will be a new world with a new way of life and death in Season 2B. The season premieres August 21 on AMC.
