The Black Eyed Peas singer and wife of actor Josh Duhamel stepped out for a romantic evening at Hakkasan in Beverly Hills on Wednesday and onlookers could not help but notice her slim post-baby body. Since giving birth to baby Axl, who weighed in at 7 lbs., 10 oz., on Aug. 19 Fergie has kept a low profile as she adjusts to motherhood.
"First of all, we're obsessed with him. We can't stop staring at him. He's our little man, we made him together," Duhamel recently told E! News in New York City.
"I think there's something you can't really describe until you go through it. I think any parents out there would understand that," he continued. "It's just an incredible time for both of us."
In 2004, Fergie, 38, began dating Duhamel, 40, and the couple eventually wed in 2009 in a Catholic ceremony. The pop star, whose real name is Stacy Ann Ferguson, is believed to have had a C-section in a Los Angeles hospital during baby Axl's birth.
"Sorry about the absence. I truly appreciate all of your well wishes. All is good! In fact, never better. :) Much love, JD," Duhamel tweeted September 3.
While the "Big Girls Don't Cry" singer has remained tight-lipped regarding her son post-birth, she previously expressed her excitement about becoming a first time mom during an interview with "Good Morning America."
"We're thrilled! I know that my husband told everybody what I said. My quote when we found out [was] 'This s--- just got real,'" Fergie joked to ABC's Lara Spencer ahead of the birth.
"But it's true, when that moment occurs to you, there's going to be a human being growing inside of you … it's reality," she continued. "It's amazing, we're thrilled."
