'FIFA 18' Gameplay News: Player Ratings Revealed; Who's at No. 1?
Electronic Arts Sports has finally revealed the players' ratings for the upcoming game "FIFA 18," and Lionel Messi fans will be disappointed yet again.
Still dominating the list is Real Madrid's Cristiano Ronaldo who, once again, prevented Messi from reclaiming the no. 1 spot at "FIFA 18's" top 100 players of football.
In his "FIFA 18" statistics, Ronaldo was very much in the lead in the shooting department with a score of 93. According to EA Sports, that was proof of the "unreal number of goals he scored in the past few seasons." Meanwhile, his overall score was 94 – just a point more than Messi's.
In other aspects, Ronaldo scored a 90 on pace and dribbling, 82 in passing, 80 in the physical rating, and just 33 in the defensive end.
EA Sports advised "FIFA 18" players: "He is probably at his best on the left wing, where he can create chances for teammates, or as he does more often, cut inside and lash the ball past a helpless goalkeeper."
While Messi fell a tad behind Ronaldo and is in second place of "FIFA 18's" rating, he is far more superior in the dribbling aspect with a rating of 95 compared to the other player. However, Ronaldo got a higher physical rating compared to Messi's 61 score.
As a tip for "FIFA 18" players, EA Sports said: "Combined with 89 Pace and 90 Shooting, Messi may usually start on the wing but he always finds a way to get in front of goal—where he rarely misses."
Meanwhile, known as the "most expensive football player in the world," Neymar comfortably sits behind Ronaldo and Messi at the third spot of "FIFA 18's" top 10 players. While he obtained the same overall rating of 92 as Messi, Neymar was a tad behind the FC Barcelona baller in several aspects such as shooting, dribbling, and passing.
Meanwhile, Neymar was also part of a lucrative transfer deal that brought him to Paris Saint-Germain in August. The player is also expected to wear his new uniform in the upcoming video game.
Completing the top 10 "FIFA 18" players are (from no. 4 to 10): Luis Suarez, Manuel Neuer, Robert Lewandowski, Sergio Ramos, Eden Hazard, Toni Kroos and Gonzalo Higuain.
"FIFA 18" will be released on Friday, Sept. 29, for PC, PlayStations 3 and 4, Xbox One, Xbox 360 and the Nintendo Switch.
