'Final Fantasy 15' DLC: 'Kingsglaive' and Soundtracks Available on PlayStation Store

The soundtracks for "Final Fantasy 15" and the feature-length computer-generated film, "Kingsglaive" have been made available on the Sony PlayStation Store.

Fans can grab the tracks for $1 each until April 18. It appears that buyers will only be able to enjoy them up to June 18, after which they will be made inaccessible.

Unfortunately, Square Enix did not provide an explanation as to why these "Final Fantasy 15" soundtracks are available for a limited time only. It also looks like an Xbox One release is not planned.

The "Final Fantasy 15" Original Soundtrack Special Edition, which contains a total of 15 tracks, will come with a massive download size of 3.7 GB.

At 391MB, the "Kingsglaive" soundtrack, which also has 15 songs, promises "luxurious soundtrack application with a set of movie screenshots, character illustrations and overwhelming music."

It is unclear if they can be used on mobile devices or other streaming services like Spotify, but fans are happy to see the "Final Fantasy 15" soundtracks offered on the PlayStation Store.

A physical version of this has been made available ahead of this unexpected release. There seems to be no difference between this copy and ones on the online store.

In other news, "Final Fantasy 15" director Hajime Tabata revealed that main antagonist Ardyn Izunia will be a central character in an upcoming downloadable content (DLC) pack for the game.

When asked about exploring the story of the character during an interview with Game Legends, he answered, "Yes, we do plan on doing something like that, so you can absolutely look forward to seeing that."

He provided no further details, so fans will just have to keep their eyes peeled until Square Enix is ready to unveil the "Final Fantasy 15" DLC.

Tabata also confirmed that the team is busy building the co-op feature promised for "Final Fantasy 15" and that a beta test will be held before it goes out.

"Before we introduce the full official servers where players can play with each other, I think we're going to be doing a beta test first," he said.
