'Final Fantasy 15' News: Devs Reveal More About the Features of 'Episode Ignis'
'Episode Ignis' will be released on Dec. 13
"Episode Ignis" will be the third character-driven downloadable content pack released for "Final Fantasy 15," and developers have shared more about what it will bring to the game.
The setting of "Episode Ignis" is revealed in a new post on the game's official website, and (spoilers ahead) things will pick up after Noctis undergoes the Trial of Leviathan.
Ignis will display just how loyal he truly is in this DLC episode as he will take on numerous enemies while going through the city of Altissia just to assist his comrades, including Noctis.
As fans might expect, things are not going to be easy for Ignis in Altissia, which is why he will be getting some help.
A newly released teaser trailer for "Episode Ignis" showed that none other than Ravus Nox Fleuret will stand alongside the titular character and they will both fight their way through hordes of enemies.
The trailer then went on to show that Ignis does finally reach Noctis, but his ordeal does not end there.
Ignis is eventually greeted by Ardyn and things only escalate at that point.
Just as with the previously released DLC episode packs, this latest one starring Ignis will feature its own distinct style of gameplay. Players will apparently have to go through a section during which they will be required to drive a motorboat. There are several battles for them to take part in too.
Still, what may be the most interesting feature of this latest "Final Fantasy 15" DLC pack is that there are multiple endings available for players to see.
Fans will be able to join Ignis on his journey to save Noctis as soon as the DLC episode is released on Dec. 13.
The "Episode Ignis" DLC pack is included in the game's Season Pass, though "Final Fantasy 15" players only interested in this particular add-on will be able to get it as an individual item.
