'Final Fantasy 15' News: Future DLC Will Fill in Some of the Plot Holes Still Present

Additional DLC episodes may also be made available

Some of the most frequently lobbed critiques at "Final Fantasy 15" are related to its story, or rather, what many fans perceive to be are the flaws of its story.

Though the role-playing game may have excelled in different ways, those complaints about its main narrative have remained present. However, there is some good news for players, as it looks like the developers may not be done telling everything there is to know about the story just yet.

Director Hajime Tabata answered some plot and downloadable content-related questions during a recent interview with Kotaku's Jason Schreier, and his responses were quite illuminating.

First off, Tabata indicated that they were not yet done when it comes to releasing game content. In fact, they were even looking into providing pieces of DLC that will finally fill in those glaring plot holes and hopefully allow players to grasp the full story even better.

Tabata noted that the continued growth that he and the other developers experience has put them in a position where they can now attempt to provide the pieces needed to complete the puzzle of "Final Fantasy 15's" story.

Notably, further fleshing out the game's story via DLC has been the plan even dating back to last year.

In an earlier post on the Square Enix blog, Tabata shared that he and the other developers intend to "delve deeper into the story," though he cautioned at the time that providing these pieces of content may take some time because of localization.

One more thing worth noting that came from that aforementioned interview is that Tabata apparently hinted that there may be more DLC episodes coming in the future.

It certainly looks like developers are planning to support the latest installment of the "Final Fantasy" franchise for quite a while longer, and hopefully for fans, these future additions will really help improve the game.

More news about what is next for "Final Fantasy 15" should be made available soon.
