'Final Fantasy VII' PS4 Release: List Reveals More Than 32 Trophies
A list of more than 30 trophies allegedly from the upcoming PlayStation 4 reboot, "Final Fantasy VII," has leaked online. The leak has started the speculation that an imminent release is at hand.
The list of "Final Fantasy VII" trophies was released by Exophase, a social network for gamers. The list contains a total of 32 trophies, including one platinum, 13 bronze, 13 silver, and five gold, according to Gematsu.
The only platinum trophy is Gaia's Guardian that will be awarded to players who have obtained all other trophies.

Of the five gold trophies listed, three (Diamond Disintegrator, Ruby Render, and Emerald Eviscerator) can be obtained once players have defeated the Diamond, Ruby, and Emerald weapons, respectively. A trophy for obtaining the Master Summon Materia (Transcendant Convoker) is available, as well as another trophy for completing the game (A Feat of Meteoric Proportions) is also listed.
The silver trophies will be awarded when players learn a skill, obtain something, or reach a certain level. The silver trophies are as follows:
- Coming Up All Nines – Obtain 99,999,999 gil
- Liege of Leveling – Reach Lv. 99 with one character
- Bahamutype-0 – Obtain the Bahamut ZERO Materia
- Roundtable Destruction – Obtain the Knights of the Round Materia
- The Slash to End All Slashes – Learn Omnislash—Cloud's last Limit Break
- Loose Cannon – Learn Catastrophe—Barret's last Limit Break
- Packing a Punch – Learn Final Heaven—Tifa's last Limit Break
- See the Light – Learn Great Gospel—Aeris's last Limit Break
- A Universe of Pain – Learn Cosmo Memory—Red XIII's last Limit Break
- Meet Your Maker – Learn All Creation—Yuffie's last Limit Break
- Wheel of Fortune – Learn Slots—Cait Sith's last Limit Break
- Inner Demons – Learn Chaos—Vincent's last Limit Break
- Gale Warning – Learn Highwind—Cid's last Limit Break
A couple of seemingly fun trophies are up for grabs, too. The Consummate Cross-dresser trophy requires a player to get Don Corneo pick Cloud over two females. Meanwhile, the Best Bromance trophy requires a player to go on a date with Barret in the Gold Saucer.
Chocochampion requires a player to win the Chocobo Racing mini-game. Shuriken Join Us and Won't You be My Valentine requires Shuriken and Vincent to join a player's party. Failure IS an Option will be awarded when a player's whole party fell in battle.
The rest of the bronze trophies are as follows:
- First Blood – Emerge victorious from your first battle
- Breaking New Ground – Use a Limit Break
- Fledgling Summoner – Use a summon Materia in battle
- Materia Mastermind – Raise a Materia to Lv. 5
- Corel's Angel – Score 10,050 points or more in G-Bike at the Gold Saucer
- Making Waves – Obtain the Leviathan Materia
- Waiting in the Wings – Obtain the Bahamut Materia
Because of the leaked trophy list, there are now speculations stating that the release date of "Final Fantasy VII" is imminent. Square Enix first announced "Final Fantasy VII" during the PlayStation Experience 2014 but has not yet declared a final launch date or even a release window.
