'Final Fantasy XV' Midgarsormr and Hvitrormr Timed Hunt: Guide to Defeat 'Em Snakes

Players of Square Enix's open world action role-playing game "Final Fantasy XV" may try their luck on its latest Timed Quest until April 26.

According to iDigital Times, the fourth timed quest will see Noctis and his squad face off with five deadly snakes, which includes three level 54 Midgarsormr and two level 78 Hvitrormr. To find these massive beasts, gamers must travel to Cleigne, specifically, to the eastern part of the Ravatoghan Trail near a river fork. They must be warned, though, that taking down these snakes will be no easy matter. Aside from weapons, players also need to prepare meal buffs that will help boost their attack power.

Based on the report, there is no need to cook or buy rare meals like Ignis' Lasagna al Forno or Maagho Lasagna. The Golden Tail Soup is enough to warrant a 150 percent Regen boost and critical hits. The Mother and Child Rice Bowl as well as the Roc of Ravatogh Rice are also said to be good choices. Other alternatives may include the Fried Frontier Skewer, Darkshells Marienieres, Toadsteak Drumsticks and Meldacio Meat Pie. These meals will help amplify the critical and attack rate, as well as the magic and the HP.

Meanwhile, Nova Crystallis reports that both the Midgarsormr and Hvitrormr are susceptible to ice, swords and daggers. Blizzard spells will go a long way. In choosing daggers, avoid those that are infused with fire or light affinities. These elements do not cause much damage on the snakes. Players must also keep a wary eye on those who spray venom. When the creepers start pouring in, the advice is to back out for a while because there is a tendency for players to trip on the snakes' coils. Hurling Blizzard spells will likewise help while the Armiger gauge is being ramped up with dagger attacks.

"Final Fantasy XV" Midgarsormr and Hvitrormr Timed Hunt is available until April 26.
