'Final Fantasy XV' News: Game Lands March 30; Fans To Get Updates Twice a Week

Fans waiting for the new "Final Fantasy XV" game can now get updates twice a week on the upcoming latest installment of the Final Fantasy series. This piece of news came after Square Enix opened its new Final Fantasy XV Japanese blog.

As the blog is in Japanese, a rough translation says:

"In the future, (such as the state and new information of the development) we will continue a variety of events such as information sent by the official blog on every Tuesday and Friday because it is happy if guests to check in conjunction with the official Twitter and You Tube!"

Attack of the Fanboy reported that the latest "Final Fantasy" game will be unveiled on March 30. The unveiling event will be streamed online so that fans eagerly awaiting for news on its release date and other important details of the game will get real-time information, wherever in the world they may be.

While the "Final Fantasy XV" website will start releasing updates on the game soon, fans can rest assured that whatever bit of information is made available to them is a part of the painstaking effort that the team behind the game has poured in.

In an article posted by Polygon, Hajime Tabata, director of Final Fantasy Type-0 HD and Final Fantasy XV, jokingly shared:

"Just as a reference, I sleep maybe three hours each day. It's difficult every day ... there is a sense that this is shortening my lifespan. But it's all worth it."

Tabata also revealed that the team is doing its best to ensure that "Final Fantasy XV" is an evolved version of the "Final Fantasy" game series. For him, all the sacrifices and work that he and the rest of the team have put into the latest "Final Fantasy" game will be properly compensated once the game is out and provides the fans the entertainment that they want and deserve.

He stressed that the kind words the team gets from the fans of the game series is the best antidote to the hardships that they have to go through during the development of any "Final Fantasy" game. While it's true that they receive criticisms, too, for Tabata, those are only temporary setbacks and serve as their motivation to do better.

"Once we receive news of fans enjoying this game, it all kind of is worth it… you forget about all the struggles that you faced during the development," he said.
