'Final Fantasy XV' News: On the PC Requirements and the Modding Community

Developed by Square Enix, "Final Fantasy XV" on PC is one of the most highly anticipated game titles of the year. Boasting a visual and aesthetic experience that will showcase vibrant colors and test out the fans' gaming rig, many were apprehensive as to what could be the PC requirements of the game.

Recent reports have revealed that it is not as expensive as it was initially expected to be, which is to say that "Final Fantasy XV" is going to be a lot more accessible to fans.

Square Enix announced the PC requirements of "Final Fantasy 15" on the Microsoft Store page, and many fans were understandably apprehensive to open it and figure out if their PC can take the game title. First off, the game will require a minimum of GTX 760, i5-2400 or FX-6100 CPU, as well as 8 GB of RAM. Considering that most gaming PCs of today are equipped with one or all of those, "Final Fantasy XV" should be playable for most of the fans.

On the other end, the required specs for achieving the maximum output of the game in terms of frame rate and resolution needs a GTX 1060, an i7 3770 or FX-8350, and 16 GB of RAM, which might be more expensive for the majority of the gaming community. However, it is still quite achievable compared to the other game titles that have been released thus far.

"Traditionally Final Fantasy has a bit of an image that everyone has the exact same experience and shares that experience with everyone that plays the game," game director Hajime Tabata told PC Gamer. "With Final Fantasy 15, we went in a slightly different direction. Right from the start, the way the whole game is structured and created gives each individual player their own individual and unique FF15 journey. I certainly think the modding community is going to resonate with that and the idea that you can change it any way they want is exciting."

"Final Fantasy XV" on PC is expected to land in stores early next year.
