'Final Fantasy XV' Rumors: Square Enix Brings In Nissin Cup Noodle to the Game for Real

Players of "Final Fantasy XV" can start expecting more Nissin Cup Noodle content to arrive in the game soon.

Since the release of "Final Fantasy XV" last year, one of the head-turning pieces of content that have also brought laughter to the players is the small appearances of the famous instant ramen brand in a cup.

Part of an advertisement deal, the characters of "Final Fantasy XV" are portrayed to love Nissin Cup Noodles so much that they bring it when they are camping. But some fans find it weird and more hilarious when Gladiolus drops his serious words of recommendation. In one of his dialogues, Gladiolus calls the Nissin Cup Noodle the "ultimate flavor experience."

Last December, Nissin and Square Enix launched a TV commercial where the world of "Final Fantasy XV" was parodied and overran by all sorts of Nissin Cup Noodles. In it, the kingdom becomes a gigantic kettle while the four main characters go camping with their car literally overflowing with a pile of Cup Noodles.

Later on in the commercial, a dragon is bathing in another giant Cup Noodle with some shrimps and some other ingredients. The funny advertisement concludes with Noctis wearing a funny Nissin Cup Noodle hat while being surrounded by life-size forks with corns, chunks of beef, and shrimps sticking on them.

Nissin and Square Enix are taking their advertisement partnership to a whole new level in time to celebrate the 30th year of the "Final Fantasy" franchise, as they decided that the funny Cup Noodle hat should be in the game for real.

They have launched a downloadable content pack that brings the Nissin Cup Noodles to the game. Player will not have to directly purchase the hat. To access the DLC content, players will have to buy some of the 15 collectible Nissin Cup Noodles.

The limited edition instant ramen release features decorative cups inspired by all the games under the "Final Fantasy" franchise in the past 30 years. Nissin designed the 15 instant ramen cups based on each of the bosses from the 15 "Final Fantasy" titles.

Buying the entire collection will give players the chance to be one of the 30 players randomly selected to win an exclusive Ultimate Weapon Fork. It is important to note that this item is an actual fork that measures more than 23 inches and not an in-game prize.
