'Final Fantasy XV' Release Date and Update: Pre-Order Bonuses Detailed
Just a few more months left until fans will be able to take hold of the most-awaited action-role playing video game "Final Fantasy XV." According to a report by Parent Herald, the game will finally be released this year. Game publisher Square Enix divulged some of the details during the "Uncovered: Final Fantasy XV" fan event in Los Angeles.
Another indication that the game is nearing its release date is when Square Enix released an image detailing the exclusive digital pre-order bonuses. PlayStation Lifestyle reported that the image provides a closer look at what will be coming along the game if the consumer orders ahead of time. It stated that PlayStation gamers will get a Big Bang theme created by Yoshitaka Amano. They will also get the in-game Masamune sword as well as the "Angler Set" DLC. Moreover, a 16-bit "Buddies" car skin DLC featuring the game's main characters will also be included.
Segment Next also detailed that Xbox One gamers will also have their own share of bonuses through the Xbox Store. It reported that it will also get the in-game Masamune sword and the "Angler Set" DLC. Aside from that, it will also give away the Regalia Skin and some avatar set items which comes with a Carbuncle pet and a Noctis costume in both female and male versions. One thing that is noted as well in the released image is the rendered special Audi R8 which will be present in Kingsglaive with the partnership of Audi.
Fans should take note that the pre-order bonuses items are also available with other editions of the game including The Standard Edition, the Deluxe edition and an Ultimate Collector's Editions. Other updates about the game include a total of 40 to 50 hours of gameplay. It's also said that "Final Fantasy XV" will be the franchise's hope for redemption as Game Zone noted. This means that if the game will turn out to be a flop, it could possibly be the finale.
"Final Fantasy XV" will hit store shelves on Sept. 30 and it will be available for PS4 and Xbox One for $59.
