'Final Fantasy XV' Release Date News: Miss Universe to Feature at March 30 Event?

The highly anticipated launching event of "Final Fantasy XV" may be graced by no less than the controversial Miss Universe 2015 winner from the Philippines, Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach. In order to ensure that fans of the "Final Fantasy" game can witness the launching of "Final Fantasy XV" wherever they may be in the world, the event will be streamed live from the still undisclosed location.

Square Enix, "Final Fantasy" developer, invited the 26-year-old beauty titlist through their Twitter account and is assumed to have exchanged a few direct messages with her about the invite and the event.

Wurtzbach had said earlier in her one of her interviews that she is a fan of the "Final Fantasy" games. She revealed that she started playing with "Final Fantasy VIII," something that may confuse other people as for many newbie "Final Fantasy" gamers, it would be best to start with "Final Fantasy VII."

"I started with Final Fantasy VIII. Not a lot of people like VIII because they usually start with FF VII. But I started with VIII because I'm a girl and I fell for the love story. My favorite character...that's a tough one... is Quistis. The one with the whip. I like her," she said on Reddit's Ask Me Anything (AMA).

Meanwhile, starting next week, fans of the game can expect fresh updates on "Final Fantasy XV" every Tuesday and Friday, which will be posted on the newly opened Square Enix website for the game. This will go on until the day the game is finally launched on March 30.

An article posted by Polygon, "Final Fantasy XV" director Hajime Tabata jokingly said that, because of the upcoming game, he must have shortened his lifespan as he only gets to sleep for three hours a day due to the fact that he and his team have been working hard on it.

He also revealed that he and his team had been working hard to make sure that the latest "Final Fantasy" game would be an evolved version of its predecessors.

As to what these changes and upgrades are, no one really knows until they are revealed at the launching event next month, which will surely be made even more special, thanks to the possible presence of "Final Fantasy" beauty queen fan, Wurtzbach.
