The movie will follow Dory, voiced by Ellen DeGeneres, as she searches for her parents with the help of her friends, Nemo and Marlin, voiced by Hayden Rolence and Albert Brooks respectively. As noted in US Weekly, other characters returning include Crush, the chill sea turtle, which will be voiced by Stanton himself and his adorable son Squirt, voiced by Bennet Dammann. Mr. Ray, Nemo's sting ray teacher from the reef, will also be back and will have Bob Peterson to voice him.
