Similar to the previous updates which introduced new characters to the game, "Blazing Shadows" also adds new Paralogue missions, which are meant to help new and old "Fire Emblem" gamers get acquainted with the characters.

There are three new Paralogue missions and each one has three levels of difficulty — normal, hard and lunatic. Completing each mission on all three difficulties yields summon orbs, which means gamers can get a total of nine summon orbs for completing each one.

Aside from the update, Nintendo also announced the winner of the in-game Voting Gauntlet event. After "Fire Emblem Heroes" players battled in the name of their favorite game character, Lucina from "Fire Emblem: Awakening" was the last one standing. Those who supported her character will get free Hero Feathers.

Nintendo also hosted a content drop on its official American account that would reward "Fire Emblem Heroes" gamers with five orbs if their Twitter post, combined with similar posts from the official Japanese and European accounts, was retweeted 50,000 times. According to GameRant, the post was already retweeted more than 70,000 times, and as such, players should expect to receive five free orbs this week.

"Fire Emblem Heroes" is currently available on iOS and Android. Since its launch, the game has made over $5 million.
