'Fire Emblem Warriors' News: On the New Character and the Switch Special Edition

Developed by Omega Force, Team Ninja, and Intelligent Systems, "Fire Emblem Warriors" is one of the most highly anticipated hack and slash video games of the year. The gaming community has been on the lookout for more information, so Nintendo has decided to answer their clamor during the Nintendo Direct that was held last Sept. 14. The showcase revealed a few things to expect for "Fire Emblem Warriors" once it hits the stands next month.

According to reports, the showcase from Nintendo revealed that they have decided to add Lyn as one of the playable characters in "Fire Emblem Warriors." She was first seen in "Fire Emblem: The Blazing Blade," which was released for Gameboy Advance. Although publisher Koei Tecmo did say that the roster of playable characters will be based on those seen in the previous three installments of the "Fire Emblem" universe, Lyn is the first one who was not featured in "Fire Emblem: Awakening," "Fire Emblem: Fates," and "Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon."

For Nintendo Switch owners, a special edition of "Fire Emblem Warriors" will be released, which includes 25 art cards and a three-disc soundtrack of the game title. It will hit the stands with a price tag of $80. "Fire Emblem Warriors" is also slotted for release on the New Nintendo 3DS. While waiting for more information, fans were also encouraged to check out the trailer for the game title as it features some of the gameplay that fans will get to experience once it is released.
