First trailer of 'The Jungle Book' live action movie released, features voices of movie stars

Who would have ever thought that old Disney cartoon films will be making some noise once again in this new era? Classic animated films like Cinderella, Alice in Wonderland, Beauty and the Beast and a whole lot more are being brought out of the chest box to be turned into live action movies. But one story that is taking the spotlight lately because of its first trailer release is "The Jungle Book" written by Rudyard Kipling.

Fans who have loved Disney's 1967 classic tale of the man-cub Mowgli, played by newcomer Neel Sethi, are excited for what director Jon Favreau has in store for them in the 2015 live action version. The hype even escalated more when they released the first trailer showing a glimpse of the anthropomorphic animal characters, the Indian jungle and the epic adventures that the young boy will encounter along the way in search for the truth of who he really is.

The trailer kicked off with the hypnotic words of Scarlett Johansson who will voice the python character named Kaa, reports Hollywood Life. Her majestic scale and scary disposition was later shown near the end of the promo. Other animals that were unveiled include Baloo the bear which is voiced by Bill Murray, Bagheera the panther voiced by Ben Kingsley, King Louie the orangutan voiced by Christopher Walken and the villainous tiger Shere Khan voiced by Idris Elba. Raksha and Akela, the adoptive vulpine parents of Mowgli, will be voiced by Lupita Nyongo'o and Giancarlo Esposito respectively.

As noted in CNN, the plot of the story will center on Mowgli who was raised by a family of wolves after being separated from his parents. Even though he grew up in the jungle, he will be forced to go on a different path as the tiger Shere Khan sees him as a threat. He will go on a journey with Bagheera and Baloo and meet other wild animals living in the jungle. He will also be encountering those who will put his life in danger.

"The Jungle Book" will arrive in theatres in April 2016.
