'Five Nights at Freddy's 3' Release Date on PC: System Requirements Revealed
Fans of Five Nights at Freddy's didn't have to wait long for the game's latest installment. One month after creator Scott Cawthon announced Five Nights at Freddy's 3 the game was released through Steam.
The game is set 30 years after Freddy Fazbear's Pizza closed its doors and its blood-thirsty animatronic robots were scrapped. Here is the game's official description on Steam:
"The events that took place there have become nothing more than a rumor and a childhood memory, but the owners of 'Fazbear's Fright: The Horror Attraction' are determined to revive the legend and make the experience as authentic as possible for patrons, going to great lengths to find anything that might have survived decades of neglect and ruin."
"At first there were only empty shells, a hand, a hook, an old paper plate doll, but then a remarkable discovery was made…"
"The attraction now has one animatronic."
The way the game is played hasn't changed. Players have to take on the role of a night guard tasked to watch over the place. As you don't get any weapons, the only option for survival is to hide from the animatronic robot using the security station cameras, ventilation grates, and audio system.
Here are the system requirements to play "Five Nights at Freddy's 3" on PC:
• OS: XP, Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8
• Processor: 2 GHz Intel Premium 4 or AMD Athlon or equivalent
• Memory: 1 GB RAM
• Graphics: 1 GB
• DirectX: Version 9.0
• Hard Drive: 250 MB available space
After "Five Nights at Freddy's 3" will Cawthon release another installment to the series? The developer has released a new teaser image on his website, but rather than pointing to a new game, fans believe that the teaser hints at the end of the series.
The image shows Freddy's hat on the ground, and according to VG247.com, the image suggests that the animatronic has retired. Cawthon has yet to comment on the rumors.
