'Fixer Upper' Stars Receive Phenomenal Online Reception for Target Product Line
It seems the stars of "Fixer Upper" will likely expand their success beyond their real estate endeavors.
Chip and Joanna Gaines' Hearth & Hand collection on Target finally debuted over the weekend, and people could not seem to contain their excitement on the launch. According to a Fox News report, fans were raving on Twitter, some showing off their purchases while others documenting the moment they are about to purchase online.
One Twitter user posted, "It's 11PM on a Saturday night and I'm legit only staying awake to buy #HearthandHand stuff online @Target. #adulting #wildnight." Another wrote, "when you're super worried about not making it to work on time to set for #HearthandHand release @Target," while posting an image of the smartphone alarm clock.
Moreover, some shared their joy of finally ending their wait and anticipation for the product line. One of them said, "You guys don't even know how excited I am to buy things at Target from @chipgaines @joannagaines line #Magnolia #HearthandHand."
The Gaineses, for their part, also took to social media to share the joy they are feeling. Joanna posted a video on Instagram, where she was pushing a cart with Chip on board as they entered the Hearth & Hand section in Target. "Today's the day! Hearth & Hand with Magnolia is now available at Target stores and on their website! We've had so much fun designing this line and can't wait for you to see it," Joanna also wrote.
Meanwhile, PEOPLE reported that items from the Gaineses' new product line were already being listed and re-sold on eBay. The reselling happened just a few hours after the launch, with the items being sold several times higher than the original. The Hearth & Hand line offers over 300 items that cover different types of home improvement products.
With "Fixer Upper" nearing its close, the Gaineses are looking to focus more on their family, as well as their other businesses. Apart from the Target partnership, they are also busy with their rental business and the Silos Baking Co. in Waco.
