On the other hand, the Panthers are leading the Atlantic Division and are fending off challenges from the Boston Bruins and Detroit Red Wings.

The Sharks have always been a tough team to play as they boast some of the best offensive forces in the league. However, finding the consistency to perform every night has been their downfall but this year, the Sharks seem to have their issues solved.

They are surely hoping that they can take down another strong team on the night they face the Panthers.

On the other hand, the Panthers have been stellar so far in the season. They have a great combination of offense and defence that has held down opponents.

So far, they only have 18 losses in the season and the performance of goalie Roberto Luongo has been a great reason for their success.

This is the last time the two teams will meet in the regular season, with the Sharks looking to complete a sweep of the Panthers, while Florida are looking to beat the Sharks for the first time this year.

In the first battle, the Sharks won 5-2 thanks to two goals in each of the first two periods to put the game to bed.

They also restricted the Panthers' scoring and frustrated the guests all night.
