Floyd Mayweather News 2015: 'Money' slams 'little brother' Adrien Broner for criticism

Retired undefeated boxer Floyd Mayweather was not pleased about "little brother" Adrien Broner's recent comments about "The Money Team".

As far back as the BET Awards in June, Broner had been making untoward comments about Mayweather and "The Money Team".

"I don't want to hear sh*t about TMT sh*t," Broner said in front of the Melanie TV cameras. "I f*ck with Floyd."

"The Problem" once again spoke ill about one of Mayweather Promotions fighters, Ashley Theophane, after his October fight against Khabib Allakhverdiev, where he won by 12th round TKO and the vacant WBA light welterweight title.

"You put Ashley on one of your private jets, bring him to come see me, and I bet I'm bringing the girl out of that boy like Bruce Jenner," the brash-talking Broner said to Showtime Boxing's Jim Gray during the post-fight interview.

In a recent report by Boxingscene, however, Broner immediately changed his tune regarding his previous statement.

"I was already mad because I've been hearing the TMT boys have been saying 'f***' Adrien and all of that," Broner explained. "So I come out and they got the cameras, and I'm thinking that's all he's gonna ask, so I'm like 'f*** the TMT, I f*** with Floyd.'"

"I could have worded that differently," he added. "And big bro actually called me about that. He was pretty upset. It's all love though."

It did not take long for it to reach Mayweather himself, and here is what "big brother" had to say.

"I just want to stand behind him, support him, and help get him to the next level," Mayweather told Fight Hype. "But you saying, 'F*** The Money Team?' Well, what he don't know, The Money Team is making 8 figures a year."

"Instead of saying, "F*** The Money Team," he needs to be thanking The Money Team because at the end of the day, Al Haymon is a part of The Money Team," Mayweather continued. "He needs to be thanking The Money Team. Everything is under the same umbrella when it's all said and done."
