To help beginners who want to explore and be successful in the "For Honor" multiplayer mode, iDigitalTimes has already collected a good set of tips and tricks that are especially helpful for beginners.

While it may sound cliché, one of the basic tricks in good multiplayer gaming is to go through the tutorials. In "For Honor," there are tutorial gameplays for both basic and advanced gaming as well as videos that provide helpful demos that players can revisit if the trial games are not enough to fully understand the game.

In other multiplayer games, people tend to proceed while assuming that they will get the hang of the movesets along the way. However, with "For Honor," that is hardly the case. As iDigitalTimes pointed out, players advancing without learning enough about the movesets can initially win smaller co-op games such as 2-on-1 or 2-on-2 plays. But as the game progress, players with not enough knowledge of the movesets will definitely not survive.

Multiplayer games are good for two things, challenging battles and having allies. In a difficult game like "For Honor," trusting one's allies and staying with them is a good way to let players finish fights and advance. Beginners who are yet to master the movesets will benefit a great deal in sticking with their teammates.

It is also vital that every player knows the techniques and fighting skills that their chosen character has or where they are good at. It is highly helpful that players also know the unlockable attacks that will further make their characters more powerful. Having enough understanding about this matter will help players go a long way in "For Honor."

Just like other titles, multiplayer maps of "For Honor" have these small sections that can be tricky. It is almost impossible to keep off of these sections all the time. So the best way to deal with it is to be cautious, especially when going on a bridge or a ledge. When other characters are seen fighting near a bridge, players are advised to avoid it since someone from the opposing team can always go after the unassuming adversary and just throw them off a ledge.

"For Honor" was released last Feb. 14 and is available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Windows PC.
