Former Playboy Girl Talks Romance with Prince in 1985 as Investigations Probe on Opioid Prescription Found at Musician's Home
A week after the world grieved Prince's death, a former flame has decided to share the story of her secret romance with the musician during the 1980s.
Devin Devasquez has long been out of the Playboy mansion as she is now an actress but it seems Prince will always have a special place in her heart as she told People about the whirlwind romance she shared with the iconic performer back in 1985.
"He was small, but such a sexy, charming guy. I was absolutely in love with him," Devasquez shared, adding that Prince had flown her all around the country when he was going on tour for "Purple Rain."

For six months, the pair dated on and off. Devasquez experienced the lavish life that Price lived as she was taken to after-concert parties, hotel meals, and front-row reservations for the Purple One's concerts.
Despite her deep love for the entertainer, the two eventually called it quits as Prince had a "controlling side to him" that he wouldn't want his Playboy model girlfriend to see.
Speaking about the rumor that Prince may have been using drugs, Devasquez noted that during the time she was with him, she never saw him doing drugs and he didn't want anybody doing it in front of him. On the other hand, the actress and producer said she wouldn't be surprised to hear that Prince was taking painkillers.
Meanwhile, investigators are now looking at the possibility of drug overdose as the singer's cause of death. A law enforcement official told The Associated Press that the authorities are not only probing into what kind of drugs were on Prince's home and whether there was a doctor with the famous musician when his plane made an emergency landing days before he died.
CNN reports that investigators were able to retrieved a prescription for opioid medication under Prince's name in his Paisley Park home and studios. Opioids are usually used to treat pain and for now, the authorities will be focusing on the medication's source.
Prince was found unresponsive in his Minnesota estate on Thursday, April 21. Parademics were unable to revive him at the scene. He was 57.
