'Fortnite Battle Royale' Halloween Rocket Launcher Lets You Fly
The Halloween update for "Fortnite Battle Royale" comes with an interesting pumpkin rocket launcher that users can use to fly across the area.
In the free-to-play version of "Fortnite," Twitch streamers discovered how one of the Halloween skins for the rocket launcher can be turned into a platform to blast across the sky, which consequently gives players a better vantage point.
Before players can think about soaring high, they must use the Halloween skin to turn the rocket launcher into a pumpkin launcher. Once the new item has been equipped, they should fire the rocket. Although it is a bit tricky, a friend can jump on the pumpkin while it is in midair. Gamers can wait on top of a house or a flight of stairs and jump when the pumpkin comes close by.
It is unclear how long the ride will last but until it bumps into something or explodes, which would also kill the character in the process, players can surf their pumpkins and enjoy their flight.
A video of Sacriel and Zaccubus shows that players can use this to ambush enemies and attack them from midair.
On a different note, update 1.8.2 for "Fortnite Battle Royale" is now live. The size of the patch is relatively small. For Xbox consoles, the update comes in 603 MB, while PlayStation 4 consoles have 370 MB, and PCs have 1950 MB.
The patch comes with the new season shop, and it should already be available. The developers made certain adjustments when a few problems surfaced as soon as it was deployed.
"The season shop has come out of hiding and is now accessible for all players. Check out whats in store!" Fortnite wrote.
Epic Games' action building game is currently available on PS4 and Xbox One Consoles, on PCs and Mac in Early Access.
