'Forza Motorsport 7' Demo On Xbox One, Windows 10 PC News: Demo Version Now Available for Download on Microsoft Store

The promised demo for Microsoft's "Forza Motorsport 7" has been released.

Turn 10 Studios recently unveiled the car racing game's demo version, according to reports. Ahead of its official release, "Forza Motorsport 7" can now be downloaded via the Microsoft store. One of the notable changes in the game is the use of a dynamic rendering system, which ensures the best possible graphics quality paired with a rock solid framerate.

Users can configure all options and can also be set to automatically adjust. Aside from launching on the Xbox One and PC, the new game is also slated to debut on the Xbox One X, Microsoft's high-end machine that comes out Nov. 7. This lets the game run in 4K at 60 frames per second.

For the first time in the game's history, drivers will be able to step out of their cars. While it is just a small detail, many fans are actually looking forward to that tweak. Past installments have always felt detached and quite impersonal since players never got to interact with the character.

Back then, users only choose the driver's helmet and outfit without seeing them out of the car. Being able to view the driver finally step out of the vehicle will definitely bring more personalization to the new installment.

Turn 10 Studios content creator John Wendl spoke with Venture Beat on Tuesday and he revealed that improvements were also done on the game's weather system. Weather conditions on "Forza 6" were never varied, so the developer is changing things up for a more realistic feel.

"We have a fully dynamic weather system now. It may start dry, Wendl shared. "You might go through a violent thunderstorm, and it may dry out again."

Comparing the next installment with the previous title, Wendl added, "In 'Forza 6' we had puddles that were physically based, meaning you could drive through them and they'd affect the handling of your car. Now those may form, grow, shrink over the course of the race."

Developed by Turn 10 Studios and published by Microsoft, "Forza Motorsport 7" is available for PC and Xbox One.
