Fox TV recently revealed its line-up of new TV series for the upcoming season and it includes two new drama series that are based on familiar "properties" or "characters." Among those ordered to series is "Minority Report" and "Lucifer."

"Minority Report" is based on the 2002 Steven Spielberg movie of the same title, which starred Tom Cruise in a futuristic society. "Lucifer" on the other hand is based on the DC Comics story about the Lord of Hell who leaves his kingdom for life in Los Angeles helping the LAPD punish criminals.

According to a report in Deadline, Spielberg's Amblin Entertainment is producing the TV adaptation of the movie. Spielberg himself was said to have been impressed by the pilot when he saw it and reportedly opted for executive producer credits of the drama series, as he was reportedly heavily involved in the series' development.
