Free DLC Update For 'Five Nights At Freddy's 4' Arriving This Halloween On Oct. 31

Fans of the "Five Nights At Freddy's" game series have been pretty excited about an image they spotted and speculated that the image is "an orange version of Bonnie's head." That led to rumours that a fifth installment of the hugely popular "Five Nights At Freddy's" will be out soon. However, it is now confirmed that a "Five Nights At Freddy's 4" free DLC update is slated to be released this Halloween on October 31.

Scott Cawthon, the creator of the "Five Nights at Freddy's" franchise, has dismissed speculations about an upcoming fifth installment of the game, but fans are hanging on to anything posted on the net with respect to the game.

Fans spotted a different image of Bonnie on the game's official website, ScottGames.com, and speculated that a new game might be coming up. But it was later clarified that the image of "orange Bonnie" is part of the promotion for the free DLC update for "Five Nights at Freddy's 4" that will be released this Halloween.

"Five Nights at Freddy's" is a 2014 point-and-click survival horror game created by game developer Cawthon. After it's release on Desura, a digital distribution platform, on August 8, 2014, it became the top-selling game on the site for the following week. It was also released on Steam. It also became part of the popular "Let's Play" videos on YouTube.

Until now, four installments have been released - the last one being released just this year, 2015.

The game is set in a fictional pizza place called "Freddy Fazbear's Pizza." The player's character is of a night security guard and he must defend himself by tracking the animal characters that are malfunctioning using the security cameras found throughout the restaurant.

The last installment, "Five Nights at Freddy's 4," added many twists to the original game. The player's character is now of a child who has to survive till 6 am as the horrors have followed the child home and are hiding. The player has to check the rooms, closets and under the beds using a flashlight to hide from Freddy Fazbear, Chica, Bonnie, Foxy, and other animatronic animals that are lurking in the shadows

The "Five Nights At Freddy's 4" free DLC update will arrive on Oct. 31. Have a happy Halloween.
