'Fresh Off the Boat' Season 4 Cast News: Paula Abdul to Guest Star in Christmas Episode
"Fresh Off the Boat" season 4 will have an exciting Christmas episode in store as it will feature a special guest star.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Paula Abdul will be making a cameo appearance in this season's Christmas episode, which is scheduled to be shot in November. Abdul will play a character named Holly, an art instructor who pays a visit to the Huang family's Orlando neighborhood. She will be there to help the struggling carolers in the area.
It remains to be seen what the Huang family members will be up to in the Christmas episode as plot details have yet to be revealed. However, fans will certainly be happy to see another '90s pop culture icon share the screen with the Huangs. Other notable names who have guest starred on the show are Shaquille O'Neal, Michael Bolton, and Heather Locklear.
In the meantime, fans can look forward to the upcoming episode, titled "Four Funerals and a Wedding." The synopsis of the new episode states that the Huang family will travel to Houston, where Jessica's (Constance Wu) family lives. Her aunt has passed away, and her husband and sons will accompany her to the Texan city.
While there, the boys will meet their grandfather for the first time. It is clear that Jessica and her father do not have the closest of relationships, so Louis (Randall Park) will try his best to make them spend time together. It is unknown whether his efforts will bear fruit or if it will just come back to bite him.
Meanwhile, Evan will make Eddie (Hudson Yang) the executor of his will, but this will ignite a brotherly competition. Eddie and Emery (Forrest Wheeler) will find themselves competing to see who is the better older brother.
"Fresh Off the Boat" season 4 airs Tuesdays at 8:30 p.m. EDT on ABC.
