'Friday the 13th: The Game' News: Killer Will Be in Disguise in New Mode?

A new game mode is coming to "Friday the 13th: The Game" soon.

It is called Paranoia. However, Gun Media is keeping the cards close to its chest with regard to what it will offer.

This ultimately forced players to speculate on what the new "Friday the 13th: The Game" mode will be about based on what was teased in the announcement clip.

Many believe that the Paranoia game mode will disguise the killer as one of the camp counsellors and the challenge is for the others to figure out who among them the predator dressed as prey is.

Players will have to keep an eye out at all times to be able to escape the killer before their next target. The survivors might even be able to communicate to each other as they try to find the imposter within their group.

The marketing surrounding the release of the "Friday the 13th: The Game" downloadable content (DLC) also has many under the impression that the mode will also be inspired from the fifth installment in the "Friday the 13th" movie franchise.

This film is titled "A New Beginning," which features a Jason Voorhees copycat Roy Burns as the killer. It is being said that the #whoisfiVe campaign is a reference to that.

Just early this month, "Friday the 13th: The Game" received the Jarvis House as a new location as well as a brand-new Jason as well as a hippie new counsellor Mitch Floyd.

Along with this are new gameplay features and adjustments that improve the performance of the title to allow players to fully enjoy the new content.

Meanwhile, those who have been meaning to play "Friday the 13th: The Game," which was released back in May, can take advantage of the ongoing Steam Halloween Sale where the title cuts the price in half.
