'Frozen 2' Movie Spoilers: Anna Has Her Own Power
Because the animated film "Frozen" was an obvious success, teasers for its sequel have been surrounding the web.
While there has yet to be any official statements about the upcoming movie, fans are hoping that the sequel will explore the character of Elsa in a much deeper sense. Her character is rumored to have a potential love interest.
With that, sources stated that the film could present Elsa as a lesbian. Therefore, there is a chance that her love interest could either be a male or a female. However, these speculations are highly unlikely. There are also speculations that the movie will present another twist.
According to the director of the movie, Chris Buck, the sequel will reveal that Anna also has her own power. Buck did not share much about what exactly her superpower will be.
However, he did say, "We know what her superpower is: her superpower is love! She saves the day with love." Some fans are also hoping that the story will bring Anna and Elsa's relationship to a new light. This is expected since the first installment of the "Frozen" franchise focused on the love between the two sisters.
This is one of the main charms of the film as it steered away from the cliché love story. It represented sisterly love as "true love."
Buck revealed that he and his co-director Jennifer Lee are working hard on the plot of "Frozen 2," knowing that it can easily influence kids. They will be working with voice actresses Kristen Bell, who plays Anna, and Idina Menzel, who play the role of Elsa. It was also said that most of the cast and crew of the film will be returning with their respective roles.
"Frozen 2" is expected to release by 2018.
