'Frozen 2' Plot Still Being Written, Set to Build on First Film
Exciting new details about the highly anticipated Disney sequel "Frozen 2" have been revealed as the film goes deep into the development phase.
In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, producer Peter Del Vecho assured that the team is "working hard" on the big screen return of Queen Elsa and Princess Anna.
"We're in the development writing process and are very excited by it. Like all movies, it will evolve," he promised of the story of "Frozen 2."

He did say that they stitched enough plot details to proclaim that the movie will add a whole new meaning to the 2013 original, which went on to become the highest grossing animated film of all time.
"Now that we've been involved in it for awhile, what's exciting is it feels like it builds on the first movie. You understand things better in the first movie after you've seen the sequel," Del Vecho explained.
Unfortunately, that is everything the producer can provide as far as "Frozen 2" is concerned. Details about the project are deliberately being kept under wraps.
The fact that the film is still in the writing room suggests that changes might be made and not everything is final yet. With that in mind, a release date is yet to be announced.
What fans can count on is that their favorite characters are returning. Idina Menzel will be back as Elsa while Kristen Bell, who has spoken several times in the past about the "Frozen 2" development, is reprising her role as Anna as well.
Josh Gad, who fans recently saw in the live-action adaptation, "Beauty and the Beast," will return as the adorable and loving snowman, Olaf.
It has also been revealed in the past that Alan Tudyk will be in "Frozen 2" to provide the voice of the Duke of Weselton from the first film.
