'Fuller House' Season 3 Air Date, Spoilers News: Gibbler House Unveiled? Musical Number, Wedding Coming Up!
The third season of "Fuller House" returns to Netflix this September and it will feature a couple of firsts. A visit to the Gibbler house might happen, along with musical number and a wedding for one special character.
Kimmy Gibbler (Andrea Barber) and her on-and-off-again ex-husband Fernando (Juan Pablo di Pace) will have their usual conflicts this season. Something will happen that will lead Fernando to move out of the Tanner-Fuller home, where he's been hanging out in the last two years.
Barber told TV Guide that Fernando will be in a special place. She hinted that it might likely be the Gibbler's house a few doors down from the Tanner-Fullers.
"We learn a little more about Kimmy's upbringing as a kid in the Gibbler home," Barber finally said.
The Gibbler household was never featured all those years in "Full House" and subsequently on "Fuller House." This will be another first for the show.
Meanwhile, "Fuller House" season 3 will open with a special musical number. While the cast did a bit of song and dance before, this time it will be more elaborate.
"We start off with a really fun, big, silly musical number to kick off the season," creator Jeff Franklin said during the Paley Fest panel.
"Fuller House" season 3's theme is all about celebrations, including a wedding for Steve (Scott Weinger) and his girlfriend, CJ (Virginia Williams). But it's not going to be smooth-sailing as Steve and DJ (Candace Cameron-Bure) will still have some unresolved issues to settle between them.
Meanwhile, Stephanie's (Jodie Sweetin) relationship with Jimmy (Adam Hagenbuch) will explore a big and serious storyline about her desire to become a mother. In a previous season, Stephanie admitted she's unable to bear children.
"How that's going to happen or if that's going to happen is a very big piece of her storyline this year," Sweetin said at Paley Fest.
"Fuller House" season 3 will unleash part 1 with nine episodes on Friday, Sept. 22, at 3 a.m. EST on Netflix. The next half of the show will be out in 2018.
