'Fuller House' spoilers; Original cast returns

"Fuller House" is the highly anticipated reboot of the classic hit comedy series "Full House." The show is being touted as a more contemporary take on the original series, complete with flashbacks.

The upcoming series will revolve around the newly widowed DJ Tanner (Candace Cameron Bure), a veterinarian who has two young sons and is pregnant with a third child. Stephanie Tanner (Jodie Sweetin), DJ's younger sister is an eager musician, and Kimmy Gibbler (Andrea Barber), their former neighbor, who moved into her San Francisco home to help her out.

The show stars most of its original cast with the exception of the Olsen twins who played Michelle Tanner in the series. Cute Uncle Jesse and funny Uncle Joey are again played by John Stamos and Dave Coulier. Actresses Candace Cameron Bure and Jodie Sweetin reprise their roles of sisters DJ and Stephanie, while their father Danny is still played by Bob Saget. Lori Loughlin returns as Aunt Becky, and lastly, Andrea Barber and Scott Weinger are back as DJ's bestfriend Kimmy and boyfriend Steve, respectively.

The series has started production already, and the reunion of the cast left actress Candace Cameron Bure so very emotionally overwhelmed that she started crying on the set. "I cried once I saw [John Stamos] on the stage. It got more and more surreal, and it was like I can't believe we're back here. It was just emotional and overwhelming and beautiful," she said.

She even dished about the reboot. DJ did not inherit her father's OCD. Fans will see Kimmy and Stephanie team up, which is surprising considering that they were sworn enemies in the original show. The show will tackle the issues of today like having a cellphone, gadgets, and social media. Of course, the heart of the show will remain the same, adorable kids that fans will love. The famous catchphrases will be back. Steve and DJ will most likely get a second chance. The show has no theme song yet, as of now.

John Stamos posted a few photos on Instagram from the set, and he recently celebrated his 52nd birthday with his fellow cast members.

Fuller House is set to air on Netflix sometime next year.
