'Furious 7' News: Trailer to Be Released on Special Event on Nov. 1, Jordana Brewster Talks Film

The seventh installment of the "Fast and Furious" franchise recently got its official title this week— "Furious 7." Along with the title, the new movie poster was also revealed, and the filmmakers announced that the first trailer will be released on a special launch event at Universal Studios on Nov. 1 in Los Angeles.

According to Deadline, the event, which starts at noon Pacific Time on Nov. 1, will be live streamed from the Universal Studios to the "Fast and Furious" Facebook page and on the E! cable channel. Fans can also submit questions for their favorite cast members through Instagram using the hashtags #AskFurious7 and #Furious7onE.

In a countdown toward the event, the studio released a seven-second video each day on the franchise's official Facebook page, which showed a glimpse of behind-the-scenes moments. The first video posted featured a look at the late Paul Walker, who died last November in a car accident, along with Vin Diesel and other cast members.

In an interview with E! News, Jordana Brewster, who plays Mia, the wife of Paul Walker's character on the franchise, talked about the film and said that it was a great way for fans to remember the actor.

"I think the beautiful thing is they got to see Paul again … and in a way celebrate him," said Brewster. "I've heard he's really good in it, so I look forward to seeing him too. Obviously it will be bittersweet, but I think it's a way for fans to revisit him."

The actress has also revealed that she has already seen the trailer.

"I saw the movie trailer … and I mean, it looks amazing. It's so cool to me that each one sort of out does the other."

"Furious 7" will premiere on April 3, 2015.
