Galatasaray SK vs SC Braga Live Stream: Watch Champions League Football
Turkish club Galatasaray SK hosts SC Braga for their second match for this year's Champions League, with both teams looking for their first points of the tournament.
Galatasaray manager Fatih Terim has cautioned his team that points are more important than the style that earns the points while they continue to seek out their first points in Group H.
"A lot of people saw us in the [1-0 defeat] against Manchester United. We played well – in a way which any Galatasaray fan would be proud of – but we dropped three points," said Terim during a press conference. "Braga also lost to CFR, but people say the result did not reflect the action on the pitch. That's football. Braga need to be taken seriously, for sure. It will be difficult. We need our fans more than ever."
To make their task harder, Galatasaray is coming off of a loss against Orduspor during league play, which saw Hamit Altintop leave the match after sustaining an injury. Still, he is expected to play against Braga. Unfortunately, defender Tomas Ujfalusi will remain out with a knee injury and midfielder Albert Riera is also expected to miss today's match, which will leave a void that Terim will have to address.
For SC Braga, they are hoping to continue the momentum that saw then defeat Vitoria Guimaraes 2-0 during league play to keep hold of third spot behind Benfica and FC Porto.
"We collected our own data and analyzed it. We worked out their strong and weak points. The Galatasaray match is certainly important but we don't see it as a turning point. We tackle our matches one by one. We aim to get a positive result and will look to the third game afterwards," Coach Jose Peseiro said during a press conference.
Kickoff for the match is at 2:45 EDT and can be watched online here.
