Galaxy Note 6 Rumors: Device May Set The Bar For Others In Terms Of RAM
Fresh rumors about the yet-to-be unveiled Samsung Galaxy Note 6 have surfaced once again and the latest piece of news is that the smartphone device will be loaded with 6GB of LPDDR4 RAM, according to Inquirer.
This information only bolsters the belief of those waiting for the details of the device that it will be the first ever smartphone that can function as a PC. Tech Times and Value Walk reported earlier that the phablet will come with a 16-core processor that uses 14nm FinFET technology. However, the websites' earlier claim that the Note 6 will have 8GB RAM has been put into question with this latest speculation on its RAM.
Another new rumor accompanying the Galaxy Note 6 is that it will come with a docking station. If this turns out to be true, this means it can provide its users a simulated PC experience as it is transformed to a Windows device. This uncomfirmed report only seems to strengthen the rumor that it will, indeed, be packed in 6GB RAM.
In terms of screen size, it is also rumored that the Note 6 will be slightly bigger than that of the Note 5 as its would-be predecessor only has a 5.7 inch screen. If unofficial claims are to be believed, the upcoming note 6 will boast of a slightly bigger 2560x1440 5.8 inch-screen, which will, likewise, be compatible with the brand's patented S stylus pen.
Tech Radar also noted that Samsung's move to reduce the MP of Galaxy 7's camera's to 12 from Galaxy 6's 16 MP can be suggestive of the fact that the company must have realized that MP has nothing to do with the quality of captured images. Thanks to this realization, it is likely for Note 6 to boast of a camera that has an improved sensor. However, the latest rumor is that the Note 6 will come with a 12 MP rear-facing camera with an optical image stabilization feature.
Other new rumors surrounding the device is that it will be available in either 64GB or 128GB of built-in storage and will have a processor of Snapdragon or Exynos, depending on where they will be sold.
The Inquirer reported that a source had said that the Galaxy Note 6 will be launched in the U.K. around August as Samsung realized that keeping the Note 5 away from the European market was a lapse of judgment.
However, it goes without saying that, as long as there is no official word from Samsung as of yet, new rumors and speculations will continue to replace the previous ones and will keep the fans guessing as to what the real deal is.
