Full of Death

A couple of episodes ago, Hodor's origin was presented alongside his death scene. The episode showed Bran Stark (Isaac Hempstead Wright) using his ability to warg. With that, he was able to see into the past when Hodor was just a young boy and was able to speak properly.

However, the time-traveling trip took a turn for the worst when the present-time Hodor and Bran were found by the White Walkers. Because of this, Bran had to use his abilities to warg into Hodor's past and future, which brought an unfortunate ending to Hodor's story.

Hodor to Return?

Even though he was a minor character, his death affected many "Game of Thrones" fans. However, the actor who plays Hodor (Kristian Nairn) recently hinted that his character could be returning to the series. Nairn was recently in the Philippines or the ToyCon 2016. During his appearance, he was asked if there is a possibility that Hodor will return to the show as a White Walker.

He said, "Maybe, it depends on if the writers want me back. I know he's dead, but it's GOT, anything could happen."

While he could not confirm the real fate of Hodor, he stated that he was satisfied with how his character died. It gave fans a way to know he story of how he got his name Hodor and just how loyal he is to Bran.

Fan Rumors

Nevertheless, fans are curious to see if Hodor will return as a White Walker. This could surely add some interesting twists to the HBO series. In addition, that would not be the first time that "Game of Thrones" will bring a character back from the dead. Fans recently saw the revival of John Snow, played by Kit Harrington.
