'Game of Thrones' Season 5 Spoilers: Tywin Returns From the Grave?
"Game of Thrones," the fantasy drama television series based off the books of George R.R. Martin "A Song of Ice and Fire," has mostly been a worldwide hit. The series was created for HBO by David Benioff and D.B. Weiss. Both the fifth and sixth season were commissioned by HBO on April earlier this year, with the fifth season expected to come out sometime in April 2015.
Spoilers for the series isn't all that common, considering that most fans have already read the books where the series was based on. Still, it isn't uncommon for series forerunners to deviate a little bit from original book plots. That being said, it seems that Charles Dance's character, Tywin Lannister, has dropped a major spoiler.
At the end of the fourth season, Tywin was killed by his own son Tyrion Lannister played by Peter Dinklage. Tyrion had fired a crossbow at Tywin and this was clearly seen so it would seem that his death was for good, his character never to be seen again in the following season.
However, Dinklage spilled some details during an interview with MTV about "Dracula Untold." According to him, it turns out that Tywin will be making a comeback in Season 5, although how that will happen is still uncertain.
"Well, I'm not completely missing from the next series. More on that, I'm not going to say. So, you haven't seen the last of Tywin Lannister is all I'll say," Dance said during the interview.
The televisions series has not been exactly a fan of flashbacks so it would be possible that Tywin will come back from the dead. It could be possible that Season 5 will start with Tywin's funeral and Dance will be returning as his character's corpse. Another possibility would be his frequent appearances in Tyrion's dreams, being killed by his own son and all.
