There were recent pictures leaked from the production of the sixth season of Game of Thrones. The photos show extras being filmed in the Iron Islands. With that, there were also hints revealed for the upcoming season that show what is instore for actor Alfie Allen. He recently shared a photo on his official Instragam page, revealing his view from the hotel room. This confirmed that Theon is in fact still alive, despite jumping a high wall with Sansa Stark, played by Sophie Turner.Fans believe that Theon will be seen in his homeland Pyke, based on Allen's location for filming. It is expected that Theon will be returning to Iron Islands for the upcoming season.
News about Maisie Williams, who plays Arya Stark, also arose when she was seen arriving in Girona, Spain. It was reported that filming in the location will begin soon. Furthermore, extras were seen dressed as monks, merchants, and prostitutes for the filming in Girona. Soldiers of the House of Tyrell were also seen around the area.
Actress Emilia Clarke, who plays the role of Daenerys Targaryen, also shared details on the upcoming season. As reported by the Los Angeles Times, "Clarke warns fans that the upcoming season is going to be 'mental. It's just go, go, go, go. Shocking moment to shocking moment. Epic moment to epic moment. It's mental; it's epic. And definitely Dany's a part of it.'"
She recently posted an Instagram post with Nathalie Emmanuel, who plays Missandei, at a souvenir shop at the Belfast International Airport. The photo was captioned, "Well look who I ran into at a certain airport for a certain read through. #seasonsixiscoming #buckleupkids #dragongliding."
Game of Thrones season 6 is expected to premiere by 2017.
