'Game of Thrones' Season 6: Margaery Will Have New Sparring Partner
"Game of Thrones" season 6 will introduce a new sparring partner for Margaery Tyrell after she is thrown in the High Sparrow's jail.
In an interview with TIME this week, Natalie Dormer, who plays Margaery, dished out a few things that viewers can expect to happen to her character in "Game of Thrones" season 6. During the season 5 finale, Margaery was jailed for giving false testimony when Loras was tried, according to Melty.
It can be remembered that Cersei also had the same fate and chose the Walk of Shame as her way out. In contrast to Cersei, Dormer said Margaery will get out in a totally different manner. She may consider embracing the religion of the High Sparrow, the report suggests.
"The beauty of Game of Thrones is it's always making these unlikely pairings from one season to the next. We all, season to season, get thrown in with a new sparring partner," Dormer told TIME. "And I've actually had a new sparring partner this season because Margaery is in jail and Cersei, obviously, after the walk of shame got back into the Keep."
Meanwhile, fans can pass their time waiting for season 6 by taking advantage of HBO's upcoming release of the season 5 Blu-Ray box set with a 20-minute animated movie about the "Dance of Dragons," which is written by Dave Hill and produced by Adam Vadnais of Lindeman & Associates. The set will be released on Mar. 15, 2016, Latinos Health reports.
Oberlyn Martell (Pedro Pascall) will be the narrator of the special feature. Other characters whose voices will be featured in the "Dance of Dragons" include Joffrey Baratheon (Jack Gleeson), Robert Baratheon (Mark Addy), Shireen Baratheon (Kerry Ingram), Viserys Targaryen (Harry Lloyd), and Catelyn Stark (Michelle Fairley), the report details.
A lot of surprises await the fans of "Game of Thrones" in season 6. For now, they will have to stay tuned for the next update or the air date of the show itself to find out who Margaery's new sparring partner will be.
