'Game of Thrones' Season 6 Spoilers, Cast News: Joe Naufahu of 'Spartacus: Vengeance' Joins Cast of Season 6

Albeit slow, fans are finally building up the cast lineup for season 6 of "Game of Thrones." It's always quite difficult to pick up any plot or cast updates between seasons of the popular HBO series; however, this season may have been the most difficult yet since the show is no longer following the books, and fans have no idea who could be cast for which role.

As of now, current updated list of newcomers include James Faulkner ("Downton Abbey"), Freddie Stroma ("UnREAL"), Richard E. Grant and Essie Davis ("The Babadook"). Some of the fresh faces have already been confirmed for certain roles, but some remain to be a mystery, perhaps only to be revealed once the show returns. It's still quite early in production and so the list is expected to grow longer. According to Deadline, the latest addition to the upcoming season is Joe Naufahu. The New Zealand actor is best known for his roles in "Spartacus: War of the Damned" and "The Last Saint."

Naufahu is reportedly set to appear in a "multi-episode arc". Although nothing has been officially announced, it is suspected that based from Naufahu's past roles that he may be taking on the role of Dothraki. It won't be a surprise as he certainly has the looks for it. There have also been casting calls that seem to fit Naufahu quite well. The ad reads, "Qhogo and Akrat: They're seeking mixed ethnicity or other non-white actors for the roles. The successful young warriors need to be tall, confident, with swagger and linguistic bravado. It's noted that the actors will have to speak in a fictional language. I think it's safe to say that these are Dothraki. Fierce Warrior: A tall man in 30s or 40s with a powerful physique. They're looking for someone with 'mixed ethnicity' for the role."

Another suspected role he might take would be Khal Jhaqo, a leader of the Khalasar that Khaleessi will have the chance to meet while she is out in the Dothraki Sea. Despite fitting the specifics for the roles of Qhogo and Akrat, Khal Jhaqo may make more sense for Naufahu's casting since it will require his numerous appearances in multiple episodes.

Season 6 of "Game of Thrones" will return to HBO in spring 2016.
